I wonder why it is abandoned seems like a good place for a base.
Cold War was finally shut down probably didn't have a need for it anymore what station did a base in Virginia Vint Hill Farm Station that was shut down looks like about the same time.

Nice fast prime for the money, Kurt. Worth having a look at adapting vintage manual focus lenses too. I mainly shoot on M4/3 Lumix and Olympus mirrorless and I picked up an M4/3 to Canon FD adapter for £20 recently. I then bought a 28mm f/2.8 Canon FD fit prime for £6 in a secondhand shop and I have to say that with the vintage lens on my Olympus, the results are great
@@BluediceMedia yea that’s something I may definitely look into buddy as I want a 150-600mm lens just for photographs for my local football team I go on watch but can’t justify paying £400-500 for a second lens for something I probably won’t earn off
